Welcome to my website!  I’m Elizabeth Rolls and I write Regency historicals for Harlequin.  I hope you’ll enjoy yourself here and send me a message.  It’s great hearing from readers.

You’ll find information on my previous books and upcoming releases, as well as news about what I’m doing at the moment, a short bio, and how I started writing.  There is also a page with links to various websites, mainly other writers.  Don’t forget to have a look at the photos page!  There you’ll find pictures of where I live and the woolly environmentally sustainable lawn mowers we use to keep the grass down.

August was just a shade hectic.  I went to the Romance Writers of Australia conference in Sydney and then straight to Auckland for the Romance Writers of New Zealand conference.  It was my first time to the Kiwi conference and I had a wonderful time catching up with friends.  Never let it be said that we don’t know how to party Down Under!  On either side of the Tasman!  You’ll find more about the trip on the News Page.

On the book news, my latest, A Compromised Lady, is  out in North America in September.  Readers kept asking about when Richard’s story will be out.  And now it is!  So far the reader response has been great - I’m so glad people are enjoying it.  If you’d like to read an excerpt, click here.

I’ll be blogging at Risky Regencies as well as at History Hoydens on the 7th & 8th September.

You’ll also find an interview at the Red Roses for Authors site  and a gorgeous review on CataRomance.
Last year’s Regency Christmas anthology with Diane Gaston and Deborah Hale will be available in the UK this November as A Regency Christmas.  Rather different to the US cover, but still gorgeous.

You might like to have a look at the photos page.  I’ve finally added some shots of my woolly lawnmowers, along with some new shots of the garden and various other members of the menagerie.  Also there are a few photos from my visit to New Zealand.
For readers in the UK, I have a very short story in the 2007 Mills & Boon Christmas Annual, out in the stores from September.  I’d love to hear from readers who find it - writing short short is a whole other thing!
